ugg, der Lammfellstiefelhersteller, kann mehr als nur Stiefel und lanciert jetzt eine edle Strickkollektion, die – im Gegensatz zu den Stiefeln – eine gute Figur machen.
Ugg Australia expandiert horizontal und erweitert seine Produktpalette ab Herbst dieses Jahres um eine Strickkollektion. Die neue Kollektion soll zunächst nur in den USA, genauer gesagt im Department-Store von Neiman Marcus, in den dortigen UGG-Outlets und im UGG-Onlinestore erhältlich sein. Es ist zunächst unwahrscheinlich, dass die Strickwaren auch nach Deutschland verkauft werden, obwohl die Stiefel des Labels hier einen phänomenalen Erfolg haben.

Last week WWD reported that ugg, the Australian brand synonymous with those ubiquitous shearling boots, has set its sights on the Upper East Side, with a flagship to open on Madison Avenue sometime this fall.

WALKERS wearing ugg boots, flipflops and other ‘inappropriate’ footwear are putting life and limb at risk on Lancashire’s fells, it has been claimed.
Now visitors are being warned by North West Air Ambulance to take more care.
Lynda Brislin, air ambulance chief executive, said: “ugg boots may be practical for flat ground but not for the fells.
