Kelly Osbourne has had a tough month with the breakdown of her relationship with fiancé Luke Worrall and the death of her beloved dog.
Now it looks as though the star is using her heartache as inspiration.
The 25-year-old was spotted heading into a recording studio in Los Angeles with a male friend yesterday, loaded down with bags and books.
She was wearing a comfortable ensemble including a black floaty skirt, layered vests with a cardigan and ugg boots.

Volleys become instant ‘classic’ in New York

Treading the same path as ugg boots, Blundstones and RM Williams boots, the humble Dunlop Volley is on its way to becoming the "it" shoe in the Big Apple.
After spotting construction workers on the Sydney Harbour Bridge wearing them while on a trip to Australia last year, Manhattan boutique owner Steven Alan began importing the iconic Aussie sneakers and selling them to New Yorkers for US$60 ($66) a pair, the Daily Telegraph reported.
