Der Tänzer soll von der Sängerin ein wöchentliches Taschengeld von 10.000 Dollar bekommen. Das will jedenfalls die US-Zeitschrift "Star" erfahren haben. Ein Insider sagte dazu: "Sie hasste es, jedes Mal die Kreditkarte zu zücken, wenn sie zum Essen ausgingen. Jen dachte, es wäre einfacher, wenn sie Casper eine wöchentliche Zuwendung zahlt und sie fand 10.000 Dollar sind eine schöne runde Sache."

Producers Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove (The Blind Side) have a savvy sense for underserved markets. As directed by Todd Graff, the film gives the plot short shrift in favor of an emphasis on an engaging blend of gospel, rock, hip-hop and R&B. Not that that’s a bad thing.
The story has some wince-inducing, corn-pone-cutesy dialogue — spoken by Dolly Parton’s character — and a flurry of moralistic lecturing, mostly by Queen Latifah, but the music is undeniably enjoyable.

Open houses are a great tool for realtors to sell homes, but sometimes, allowing strangers in can bring trouble.
Richardson Realtor Jona Thomas, "I was holding my normal open house, like I do every Saturday, every Sunday, and I had about 14 groups of people through That’s when Thomas said a man came to the door, claiming to be a potential homebuyer.

The John Wall era hasn’t begun as many had hoped. The first pick in the 2010 draft is not playing as well as he did last year and that wasn’t all that great. He has flashes of greatness, of course. For example, against the Boston Celtics, Wall put up 19 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, one steal, one block and just one turnover. The Wizards lost, of course.

The actress was at Sprinkles, a cupcake bakery in New York City, to promote the new S’more cupcake, which Lively helped create. It’s for a terrific cause — 100% of the proceeds from Lively’s S’more cupcakes go to Oxfam’s Somalia famine disaster.

A nearly century-old hunting boot is catching on with a younger generation that sees the utilitarian footwear as hip.
L.L Bean’s familiar duck boot with leather uppers and rubber soles – designed for slogging through mud and snow – has become something of a fashion statement owing to its newfound popularity on college campuses, the company said.
